It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein. 16 Behold! when the two receivers receive - one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter. 17 The human being will certainly experience the agony of death 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the Trumpet was blown; “This is the Day of the promised punishment.” 20 And every soul cometh, along with it a driver and a witness. 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 'Cast, you twain, into Gehenna every froward unbeliever, 24 Forbidder of good, exceeder of limits, doubter, 25 who has set up with Allah another god. Indeed, you two, cast him into the terrible punishment' 26 ۞ His companion will say: "O Lord, I did not lead him to wickedness, but he was himself far astray." 27 God will say, "Do not quarrel in My presence. I gave you the warning beforehand 28 “With Me, the decree does not change, and nor do I oppress the bondmen.” 29
