Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
