Those who left their homes in the cause of God after having been oppressed, will be given by Us a better place in the world, and if they knew, the guerdon of the next would be greater 41 (They are) those who remained patient (in this world for Allah's sake), and put their trust in their Lord (Allah Alone). 42 We sent not any before thee, except men to whom We revealed: 'Question the people of the Remembrance, if it should be that you do not know -- 43 [and they will tell you that their prophets, too, were but mortal men whom We had endowed] with all evidence of the truth and with books of divine wisdom. And upon thee [too] have We bestowed from on high this reminder, so that thou might make clear unto mankind all that has ever been thus bestowed upon them, and that they might take thought. 44 Do those who do evil feel secure that Allah will not make the earth to swallow them, or that the punishment will not fall upon them from where they do not know? 45 Or, that He will not seize them in their going to and fro, and they will not be able to frustrate Him? 46 or that He will not seize them when they are apprehensive of the impending calamity? Surely your Lord is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. 47 Do they not consider every thing that Allah has created? Its (very) shadows return from right and left, making obeisance to Allah while they are in utter abasement. 48 And to Allah prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of creatures, and the angels [as well], and they are not arrogant. 49 They have fear of God for His power over them, and act as commanded. ۩ 50
