Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly? 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: "The Most Compassionate Lord grants respite to those who stray into error, until they behold what they had been threatened with, either God's chastisement (in the world) or the Hour (of Resurrection)" - then they fully know whose station is worse, and who is weaker in hosts! 75 And God shall increase those who were guided in guidance; and the abiding things, the deeds of righteousness, are better with thy Lord in reward, and better in return 76 Have you seen him who denies the truth in Our revelations and says, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? 78 Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. 79 And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone. 80 They have sought honor from other gods instead of God. 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
