Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 excusing or warning, 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
