The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 And the promised day, 2 And by oath of the day that is a witness and by oath of a day in which the people present themselves. 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 when they were seated over it 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. God is witness over all things. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He alone is truly-forgiving, all-embracing in His love, 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an, 21 On a guarded tablet. 22
