The Elephant (Al-Feel)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with the people of the elephant? 1 Did He not cause their evil plots to fail 2 And send flocks of birds upon them, 3 (While) you were pelting them with stones of porphyritic lava, 4 and made them like straw eaten up (by cattle). 5
True are the words of God the Almighty.
