And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 'Stamp thy foot! This is a laving-place cool, and a drink.' 42 And We bestowed upon him new offspring, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder unto all who are endowed with insight. 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 (Muhammad), recall Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, all of whom possessed virtuous hands and clear visions. 45 for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. 46 And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are open to them, 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks; 51 ۞ having beside them well-matched mates of modest gaze." 52 'This is what you are promised on the Day of Recompense, 53 Our provision (for you) will never be exhausted. 54 This is so! And for the Taghun (transgressors, disobedient to Allah and His Messenger - disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, criminals, etc.), will be an evil final return (Fire), 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people who rushed headlong [into sin] with you? No welcome to them! Verily, they [too] shall have to endure the fire!" 59 (The followers shall cry to the misleaders:) "Nay, ye (too)! No welcome for you! It is ye who have brought this upon us! Now evil is (this) place to stay in!" 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 And they will add: "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we were wont to count among the wicked, 62 Was it that we (only) took them in scorn, or have our eyes (now) turned aside from them? 63 Verily this is the very truth: the wrangling of the fellows of the Fire! 64
