The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 when the stars are thrown down, 2 And when the mountains are removed 3 and when she-camels big with young, about to give birth, are left untended, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 when the souls shall be coupled, 7 and when the girl-child that was buried alive is made to ask 8 For what crime she was killed; 9 when the records of men's deeds are laid open, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped off and taken away from its place; 11 And when the hell is kindled up, 12 And when the Garden is brought nigh, 13 (Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil). 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And by the night as it closes in 17 And the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness;- 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; 21 Your companion is not possessed; 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 nor does he grudge (conveying this knowledge about) the Unseen; 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 It is naught but a Reminder unto all beings, 27 for whosoever of you would go straight, 28 And you will not, unless (it be) that Allah wills, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
