And we sent Moses, with Our Clear (Signs) and an authority manifest, 96 Towards Firaun and his court members, thereupon they followed the commands of Firaun; and the work of Firaun was not proper. 97 On the Day of Judgment he will lead his people down into the hell fire. His leadership is evil and terrible is the place to which he leads! 98 A curse is made to follow them in the world and on the Day of Resurrection. Hapless is the gift (that will be) given (them). 99 That is from the stories of the cities which We recount unto thee: of them some are standing and some mown down. 100 We did not wrong them; they wronged themselves; the deities they called on besides God availed them nothing: when God's command came upon them, they only added to their ruin. 101 Such is the punishment of your Lord when He seizes the towns in the midst of their sins: His punishing grip is terrible and severe. 102 Most surely there is a sign in this for him who fears the chastisement of the hereafter; this is a day on which the people shall be gathered together and this is a day that shall be witnessed. 103 and We shall not postpone it, save to a term reckoned; 104 On the day when it cometh no soul will speak except by His permission; some among them will be wretched, (others) glad. 105 As for those who were [destined to be] wretched, they will be in the Fire. For them therein is [violent] exhaling and inhaling. 106 They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: for thy Lord is the (sure) accomplisher of what He planneth. 107 ۞ As for the happy, they shall live in Paradise for ever, as long as the heavens and the earth endure, and as your Lord wills an unbroken gift. 108 Have no doubt as to what they worship. They worship nothing but what their fathers worshipped before [them]. We shall certainly give them their share in full, without diminishing anything. 109
