Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
