Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
