The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 in the beautiful Paradise. 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 carrying goblets and ewers and cups filled with the purest wine, 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 All this shall be theirs as a reward for their deeds. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 Except the word peace, peace. 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And clustered plantains, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 And carpets raised. 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 And made them virgins, 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 for the people of the right hand 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
