The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
