Believers, fight the unbelievers who are near you. Let them find firmness in you. Know that Allah is with those who are cautious. 123 And whenever a Surah is sent down, there are some of them who say which of you hath this increased in faith! As for those who believe, it hath increased them in faith, and they rejoice. 124 But to those whose hearts are sick, it adds more filth to their hearts and they die as disbelievers. 125 Do they not see that they are tried every year once or twice but then they do not repent nor do they remember? 126 And whenever a surah is revealed, they glance at each other as though saying: "Is anyone watching?" Then they slip away. Allah has turned away their hearts for they are a people who are bereft of understanding. 127 Now hath come unto you a Messenger from amongst yourselves: it grieves him that ye should perish: ardently anxious is he over you: to the Believers is he most kind and merciful. 128 So, if they turn away, say to them: "God is sufficient for me. There is no God but He; I depend on Him alone, the Lord of the glorious Throne." 129
