(And recount to them the story of Moses) when Moses said to his servant: "I will journey on until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I may march on for ages." 60 When they reached the junction of the two seas they found out that they had forgotten all about the fish (which they had carried for food). The fish found its way into the sea. 61 And when they had gone further, he said unto his servant: Bring us our breakfast. Verily we have found fatigue in this our journey. 62 He replied: "Sawest thou (what happened) when we betook ourselves to the rock? I did indeed forget (about) the Fish: none but Satan made me forget to tell (you) about it: it took its course through the sea in a marvellous way!" 63 [Musa (Moses)] said: "That is what we have been seeking." So they went back retracing their footsteps. 64 Then the twain found a bondman from Our bondmen, him We had vouchsafed a mercy from before Us, and him We had taught from Our presence a knowledge. 65 Moses said unto him: May I follow thee, to the end that thou mayst teach me right conduct of that which thou hast been taught? 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 How could you be patient in matters beyond your knowledge?" 68 Moses said, "If God wishes, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey any of your orders." 69 He said: 'If you follow me, you must not question me about anything till I myself speak to you concerning it' 70
