The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
