Al-Dukhaan 2 of 3

So We saved the children of Israel from degrading suffering 30 from Pharaoh who was most prominent among the prodigals. 31 We gave preference to the Israelites over the other people with Our knowledge 32 And We gave them of signs that in which there was a clear trial. 33 These people say, 34 There is naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring back to us our fathers if you are truthful.” 36 Are these better or the people of Tubba and those who went before them? We destroyed them for they were a criminal people. 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in play. 38 We did not create them except with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 The appointed time for all of them will be the Day of Judgment 40 The day when friend will help no friend in the least, nor will they be helped, 41 save him upon whom God has mercy; He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 42
