Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 They know all that you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 to burn therein. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
Click or tap the small triangles above and below the frame on the right to display the Surah Table of Contents, where you can go to any Surah or any page within.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
