The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
WOE UNTO THOSE who give short measure: 1 Those who when they take the measure from others, take it in full! 2 but who, when they measure or weigh for others, give less than their due. 3 Do they not think they will be raised (to life) again 4 on a Great Day, 5 a Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the Universe? 6 By no means! Verily the record of the ungodly is in Sijjin. 7 and what could make you understand what the Sijjin is? -- 8 (It is) a marked Book. 9 Woe, on that day, to those who have rejected God's revelations 10 Those that deny the Day of Judgment. 11 And none will deny it, except every transgressor, rebel. 12 who, when Our verses are recited to him, says: “Mere tales of olden times!” 13 Nay! But on their hearts is the Ran (covering of sins and evil deeds) which they used to earn. 14 Nay! most surely they shall on that day be debarred from their Lord. 15 and then they shall enter Hell, 16 and it will be said to them: 'This is that which you belied' 17 No indeed; the book of the pious is in Illiyun; 18 Would that you knew what Illiyin is! 19 A written record, 20 Which is witnessed by the close ones. 21 The virtuous will live in bliss, 22 resting on couches, looking around. 23 You can trace on their faces the joy of their bliss. 24 They will be given to drink pure sealed wine. 25 Its seal is upon musk; and for this should those who crave be eager. 26 a wine tempered with the waters of Tasnim, 27 a source [of bliss] whereof those who are drawn close unto God shall drink. 28 Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. 29 And when they passed by them, they winked at one another. 30 and when they returned to their own people, they would speak of them jestingly; 31 and when they saw them they said, 'Lo, these men are astray!' 32 Whereas they have not at all been sent as guardians over them. 33 But today the believers are laughing at the unbelievers; 34 as they sit on couches, gazing around. 35 Will not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did? 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
