The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
