۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
