Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 But nay - they deem it strange that a warner should have come unto them from their own midst; and so these deniers of the truth are saying, "A strange thing is this! 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it? 6 (Have they not seen) how We have spread out the earth, placed on it firm mountains and have made all kinds of flourishing pairs of plants grow? 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And high date-palms with lush fruit. 10 A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead). 11 The folk of Noah denied (the truth) before them, and (so did) the dwellers at Ar-Rass and (the tribe of) Thamud, 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 the men of the Thicket, the people of Tubba'. Every one cried lies to the Messengers, and My threat came true. 14 Were We exhausted by the act of the first creation? And yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
