Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And that which ye see not. 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
