The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
