And whenever We change a verse in place of another verse - and Allah is the Best Knower of that which He revealeth - they say: thou art but a fabricator, Aye! most of them know not. 101 Say, [O Muhammad], "The Pure Spirit has brought it down from your Lord in truth to make firm those who believe and as guidance and good tidings to the Muslims." 102 And We know well that they say: Only a man teacheth him. The speech of him at whom they falsely hint is outlandish, and this is clear Arabic speech. 103 Indeed, those who do not believe in the verses of Allah - Allah will not guide them, and for them is a painful punishment. 104 It is those who believe not in the Signs of Allah, that forge falsehood: it is they who lie! 105 As for one who denies God after he has believed, with the exception of one who is forced to do it, while his heart rests securely in faith, but one who opens his heart to a denial of truth shall incur the wrath of God; such as these will have a terrible punishment. 106 This is because they have given preference to this life over the life to come and God does not guide disbelieving people. 107 Those -- God has set a seal on their hearts, and their hearing, and their eyes, and those -- they are the heedless ones; 108 Undoubtedly they in the Hereafter shall be the very losers. 109 ۞ Then, surely thy Lord -- unto those who have emigrated after persecution, then struggled and were patient -- surely thy Lord thereafter is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 110
