The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
