▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. 46 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 47 Containing all kinds (of trees and delights);- 48 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 49 In both of them are two fountains flowing. 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two. 52 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 53 (They shall) recline on couches lined with brocade, and the fruits of the Gardens will be near at hand. 54 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 55 Therein are maidens of modest gaze, whom neither a man nor a jinn had ever touched before them. 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 Should the reward of goodness be aught else but goodness? -- 60 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 61 And beside the two there will be two other Gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 65 In both of them are two springs, spouting. 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 In them good and comely maidens -- 70 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 77 Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 78
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
