The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
