Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 Why - [how could we be resurrected] after we have died and become mere dust? Such a return seems far-fetched indeed!" 3 (Thus do they imagine, although) We know well what the earth takes away from them. With Us is a Record that preserves everything. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong). 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 And the earth - We have spread it wide, and set upon it mountains firm, and caused it to bring forth plants of all beauteous kinds, 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 a provision for the servants, and thereby We revived a land that was dead. Even so is the coming forth. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
