But no; I swear by what you see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor diviner's speech - little is it that ye remember! 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 And We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it). 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
