The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11
