۞ Allah it is Who hath subjected the sea for your sake, that the ships may run thereon by His command and that ye may seek of His grace, and that haply ye may return thanks. 12 And He has subjected to you, as from Him, all that is in the heavens and on earth: Behold, in that are Signs indeed for those who reflect. 13 Tell the believers to ignore those who do not believe in the coming of the days of God. He will requite people for what they have done. 14 Whoever does what is just and right, does so for his own good; and whoever does evil, does so to his own hurt; and in the end unto your Sustainer you all will be brought back. 15 And certainly We gave the Book and the wisdom and the prophecy to the children of Israel, and We gave them of the goodly things, and We made them excel the nations. 16 We gave them clear signs of the Command; yet it was not until after knowledge had come to them that they differed among themselves, and were insolent to each other. On the Day of Resurrection your Lord will indeed decide their differences. 17 And thereafter We have placed thee upon the law of the religion; so follow it thou, and follow not the vain desires of those who know not. 18 They can be of no avail to you against God. The wrongdoers are friends of one another, while the friend of the righteous is God. 19 These are clear proofs for people, a guidance, and mercy for those who are certain (of the Resurrection) in belief. 20 Now as for those who indulge in sinful doings - do they think that We place them, both in their life and their death, on an equal footing with those who have attained to faith and do righteous deeds? Bad, indeed, is their judgment: 21
