The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
