The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
