Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 watching over you 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 to burn therein. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
