O ye messengers! enjoy (all) things good and pure, and work righteousness: for I am well-acquainted with (all) that ye do. 51 Surely this community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord; so fear Me.' 52 Yet they have split their affairs between themselves into sects, each rejoicing in what it has. 53 Therefore leave them in their overwhelming ignorance till 54 Do they fancy that Our continuing to give them wealth and children (means) that 55 We hasten unto them with good things (in this worldly life so that they will have no share of good things in the Hereafter)? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Those who tremble with fear of their Lord; 57 who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 And those who ascribe not partners unto their Lord, 59 And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities, etc., have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning). 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works, and it is they who outrun [all others] in attaining to them! 61 And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are covered (blind) from understanding this (the Quran), and they have other (evil) deeds, besides, which they are doing. 63 Till when We grasp their luxurious ones with the punishment, behold! they supplicate. 64 "Do not supplicate for help today; you will not be rescued by Us; 65 “My verses were recited to you, so you used to turn back on your heels.” 66 waxing proud against it, talking foolish talk by night.' 67 Have they not pondered the Word, or hath that come unto them which came not unto their fathers of old? 68 Or, is it that they recognised not their apostle, and so of him they become deniers? 69 Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth. 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Or dost thou ask of them (O Muhammad) any tribute? But the bounty of thy Lord is better, for He is Best of all who make provision. 72 But verily thou callest them to the Straight Way; 73 But those who do not believe in the Hereafter have indeed deviated from that path. 74 ۞ And even were We to show them mercy and remove whatever distress might befall them [in this life,] they would still persist in their overweening arrogance, blindly stumbling to and fro. 75 We had seized them with the punishment, but they did not bow before their Lord nor turned to Him in humility, 76 until, when We open against them a door of terrible chastisement, lo, they are sore confounded at it. 77
