Hizb 38
< random >
The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
