The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 surely your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay. 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 And when they are warned they pay no heed. 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
