So We saved the children of Israel from degrading suffering 30 from Pharaoh who was most prominent among the prodigals. 31 and We chose them, out of a knowledge, above all beings, 32 And We vouchsafed unto them signs wherein was a manifest favour. 33 As to these (Quraish), they say forsooth: 34 "There is not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected. 35 “Therefore bring back our forefathers, if you are truthful!” 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba and those afore them? We destroyed them; verily they were culprits. 37 It was not in play that We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. 38 We created them not save with truth; but most of them know not. 39 The Day of Judgement is your promised day of meeting, 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 Except such as receive Allah's Mercy: for He is Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 42
