Say thou: I simply call upon Allah, and I associate not with Him any-one. 20 Say: Lo! I control not hurt nor benefit for you. 21 Say, "No one can protect me from God, nor can I find any place of refuge but with him. 22 My duty is only to convey that which I receive from Him and His messages." For those who disobey God and His Messenger there is the fire of hell, wherein they will abide forever. 23 [Let them, then, wait] until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned: for then they will come to understand which [kind of man] is more helpless and counts for less! 24 Say, "I do not know whether what you are promised is imminent, or whether my Lord has set for it a far-off day. 25 "He (alone) knows the Unseen, nor does He make any one acquainted with His Mysteries,- 26 "Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him, 27 So that He may know that they have truly delivered the messages of their Lord, and He encompasses what is with them and He records the number of all things. 28
