Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble, writers 11 who know all that you do: 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
