AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
