The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
