Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

Certainly We sent Nuh to his people, so he said: O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; surely I fear for you the chastisement of a grievous day. 59 The chieftains of his people said: Lo! we see thee surely in plain error. 60 He said: O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds. 61 I deliver to you the Messages of my Lord, and I advise you sincerely; for I know from God that you know not. 62 Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you and that you may fear Allah so you might receive mercy." 63 But they cried him lies; so We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark, and We drowned those who cried lies to Our signs; assuredly they were a blind people. 64
