Al-nahl 7 of 16

۞ Allah has commanded: "Do not take two gods; for He is but One God. So fear Me alone." 51 And to Him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and in the earth, and obeying Him only is obligatory; so will you fear anyone other than Allah? 52 And ye have no good thing but is from Allah: and moreover, when ye are touched by distress, unto Him ye cry with groans; 53 Yet when He has delivered you from affliction, some of you ascribe companions to your Lord 54 showing no gratitude for what We have given them. Enjoy yourselves awhile; but soon you will know! 55 And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent. 56 And they ascribe daughters to Allah, glory be to Him; and for themselves (they would have) what they desire. 57 And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. 58 He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed. Shall he keep her with dishonour or bury her in the earth? Certainly, evil is their decision. 59 The attribute of evil applies to those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while to God applies the highest attribute, for He is Mighty, the Wise. 60
