We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone and you will not be blamed. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
