The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
