The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
