The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 And the promised day, 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 When they sat by it 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 HAS IT ever come within thy ken, the story of the [sinful] hosts 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
